    AMI Bios config
    In Integrated Peripherals SATA Mode Select is in SATA mode. I have the option of AHCI.
    Which is the optimum setting?
    W7. With one Sata drive.

    AHCI is the updated protocol/standard but will cause your machine not to boot if a registry key is not set first.

    Applied fix, detects ACHI and boots. Seems to add several seconds to boot time (Black screen Starting windows). I'l run with it and see how it goes.
