    Hi

I am completing my friends tax return for 2013 (yes, I know overdue :)

I did qualify as an accountant a few years back and did tax in my exams at time but memory has lapsed and I don't work in field.

Would appreciate some guidance. I have searched online this evening but can't find my answers

    1) company incorporated may 2013 and ceased April 2014. As the company ceased what dates should I do the return for? Should I do both 2013 and 2014 separately? Revenue are chasing him for 2013 but we should do both?

    2) the business involved 95% time on road. Can I claim for lunches as there was no fixed place of business, just travelling up and down country to clients.

    Thank you
    I wish I didn't throw out m y books now!
