Title changes and performance decline post USADA

Long time Brazilian Champions have fallen by the wayside and there is only 1 left now.

The stats from the Nova Unaio gym are astounding.
    Van be read here.

There are a number of other rules such as no IV etc. which make make a difference also.

People like Erick Silve and Vitor Belfort are very obvious changes in physique.

It's not just Brazilians but they seem to have been effected by the change more than nationalities.

What are your opinions of the number of fighters whose performances are falling fast in the post USADA era?

**I'm focusing pure on UFC, just don't have the time to follow any other orgs.**

Interesting stats, knew they were doing rubbish lately but wasn't sure how badly.

It's brilliant it came in anyway, level playing field for all with no dangerous trt heads.

I just wish the punishments were even more severe, if you get caught for peds life ban, good luck.

I agree about Nova's stats, I pointed this out elsewhere. But what long time champions have fallen since Usada?

It's just been Jose Aldo that I can think of.
Don't think we should be counting Werdum, as he wasn't a longtime standing champ, and no HW champ has ever made more than 2 defenses.

I know they both lost pre USADA but Barao and Silva have lost every fight since USADA (Silva won one but was caught doping).

The 1st Dillashaw fight was a contest, and you could argue that Silva was toying with Weidman before he got caught.

How many times in the last decade has there only been 1 Brazilian champ?
It could just be timing, it could be co-incidence.....

And no, I was not counting Werdum.

Silva is 0-3-1 in his last four. But only the last fight was since Usada.
He was doping pre-Usada. Lost twice to Weidman pre-Usada.
He lost the Bisping fight because he was dicking around (as usual). Not because of a performance drop.

Barao is 1-3 in his last four. Huge fall from the top. I think TJ just had his number. It's worth pointing out that his second TJ fight camp was essentially pre USADA. So his testing for that event was no different to previous. No IV at the fight, which was probably a factor.
    He underestimated 145 imo.
