Flight cancelled!

    My friend had to go back to Milan from Cardiff over the weekend for a family thing. His flight to Cardiff has been cancelled, we have an exam tomorrow afternoon.

    Is there anything he can do? He's flying Flybe.

    If the exam is important book another flight and sort out the cancellation after

    How do you mean sort out the cancellation after? Do the airline have anything they should do for him?

    Yes, under 261 regulations but if it's urgent he needs to book another flight to Bristol or Birmingham and get the train. Flybe are known as flymaybe for a reason!

    As above he needs to book.another flight and get the train etc. Yes the airline are meant to.do.something for him but it is unlikely they will do anything in time for him to make his exam.

    Why doesn't he contact the airline and see what the options are ?

    If as has been suggested the exam is that important they should book another flight asap possibly with another carrier.

    There is a thread over in the travel forum regarding compensation for cancelled flights.
