Aer Lingus Transatlantic bassinet

    Hi,

Just looking at the Aer Lingus A330 config for their direct Dublin - San Francisco flights. There appears to be no seat 11F in the bulkhead (i.e. 3 seats in the middle of the first row of economy), making it only 3 seats across in the middle. We are flying with an infant and I'm trying to understand if the bulkhead is worth it.

Does anyone have experience of this looonnng flight with a kid? Bassinets are apparently only up to 10kgs, so I'm wondering if I shouldn't just book 2 comfort seats off to the side (despite seeming to have the toilet in front of them - AL can't confirm details). All bulkhead will have immovable armrests so it's hard to know how best to try and plan (hope) for some sleep on the way.

Basically - middle 3 seats with possible use of cardboard bassinet, vs. 2 seats to the side with no bassinet?

    Any advice? Many thanks!
