Resetting the date Toyota Corolla

    Hello, I was trying to set the date in my corolla but I accidentally set it to 2017 - is there any way to bring it back? I've googled and checked manual but no results. This is not a major problem but just want to see is it possible. Thanks.

    Go into the set time mode by holding one of the buttons under the speedo, let it cycle through hours>minutes>day>month>year.
    Pressing the button adds a unit, not pressing the button for a few seconds cycles through.

    Think you press the odometer till the total mileage shows rather than the trip meter, then hold the button down?
    (Sorry it's been a few years since I've done it)

    You can only go forwards AFAIK. I'm sure it only goes up to 2099 or something.

    Disconnecting battery will probably put you back to 2006 or 2007.

    Just to update - you just keep the button pressed and the years go to 2000 again. 'Panic' over :)

    imagine if it made you time travel.

    they'd probably only put that on the Luna models though.

    Well I did see 2099 :) and it is a Luna model :)
