    1. If there are 2 left turns on the roundabout- do i indicate left before entering the roundabout or after passing first exit?

    2. If the first exit on the roundabout is straight-do i signal left just before taking that exit?

    3. Where do examiners take the road signs from- im pretty sure I was shown the sign that isn't in the rules of the road book. Thanks

    1. After passing the first exit

Indicate before the exit you are going to take, but after the one before it, in case you mislead other drivers.

    2. Indicate before your exit.

    3. Can you describe it?

It was a different version of 'road narrows' as per pic

The physical position of the exits on a roundabout doesn't matter. You always indicate left as you enter the roundabout if you are taking the first exit, for all other exits you don't indicate left until you are approaching the exit you are taking. Whether the first exit is to your left, or directly across, or even off to the right, the order of exits is what matters.

If you are entering a roundabout and taking the first exit, indicate left as you approach the roundabout.

If you are going straight on (12 o'clock on the roundabout), do not indicate as you approach the roundabout. When you have passed the last exit before the one you want to take, indicate left.

If you are going any exit after 12 o'clock, indicate right as you approach the roundabout and keep the right indicator on while on the roundabout. When you have passed the last exit before your exit, indicate left.

So whenever the examiner says -take 1st exit I indicate left before entering the roundabout regardless if the first exit takes me left/straight or right, yes?

Every turn on a roundabout is a left turn. Imagine the roundabout was a straigh road. What would you do then? Do that.

the first exit is the first exit, so I'd indicate left going in.

If going straight on a roundabout, regardless of whether it's the 1st or 3rd exit you don't indicate on the approach but you do indicate your intention to exit the roundabout.

So, entering from 6 o'clock and the 1st exit is at 12 o'clock signal left at 9 o'clock
