Lambda sensor location

    Guys hey

    I'm welding a non original cat and lambda into this little dinky car, and I'm wondering, isnt the lambda sensor normally located in front of the catalytic converter? (on the engine side, near the downpipe)

    On this its situated after it... strange

    All the cars since about 2001 have two lambda sensors. The one after the cat is used to monitor efficiency of the cat and to do fine tuning/alert the driver if there's an issue and the one before the cat to do most of the work.
