MHRV commissioning and sign off

Recently installed a Zehnder 550 unit on a new build and had it commissioned on moving in. Am I supposed to get a cert of compliance or on Part F for the engineer to sign off, what's expected of the installer? Thanks.

The starting point must be what do zender require for the warranty?
Yes you will need a COP which will not cover the install

Does the install have to be done by an approved installer to avail of that warranty?

Have you got COPs for any of the other stuff or is it a DIY self build being done outside any regs?

Its a self build but the HRV is done by a professional and commissioning done by a 3rd party who supplies the Zehnder units. The question is around this, I would have expected a cert of compliance in line with Part F requirements so its a question to all other self builders, did you get one ?

While my guess is you are outside the BCR setup, the attached might help.
