Hi there! I am hoping someone here can help me - I am looking for a Hashing group here in Dublin. For those that do not know what Hashing is its a

'is an international group of non-competitive running social clubs. Hashing is an exhilaratingly fun combination of running, orienteering, and partying, where bands of harriers and harriettes chase hares on eight-to-ten kilometer-long trails through town, country, and desert, all in search of exercise, camaraderie, and good times.'

They describe themselves as 'A drinking club with a running problem' and I say it could be a lot of fun!

I am aware that there is a Hash House Harriers in Dublin.... but after numerous attempts I can't get a hold of anyone.

Is anyone out there a member? if not... would anyone else fancy setting up a Dublin Hashing Group?

    Thanks!
    Fay

Sounds like more #boatymcboatface ex-pats in search of warm beer and fellow Daily Telegraph readers who think 5KM is a run. Meetup.com would be a better bet and offer more opportunities.

5k is a run the last time I check. I found the 5k races alot harder than the half marathon!

It's the pace that kills, not the distance. Any gobsh1te could run for 2 hours slowly without stopping.

Wonderful, running snobs decrying someone trying to get off their arse and do a bit of exercise

Chill out with the snide comments. Boards A/R is made up of runners of all abilities and goals some just like to go for a short jog and meet people, others are trying to knock a second of 400mts, some want to hit a sub what ever in their distance, others like trying to be top of their strava leader boards while taking running selfies, and so on and so. Everyone is different so just be nice and run happy.
