NCT Retest

    Possibly a stupid question but hey....

    Do they just test what you've failed on, or do they put the car through a full test again?

    I failed on headlight alignment last week and would like to get it back in straight away with that fixed and get my cert. However, my front shocks need doing, which I knew, but they passed at 27%. Will they retest those too or will I get away with that until I get it serviced in a couple of weeks?

    Only whatever failed is retested.

    As long as you get it done within the 28 days; otherwise it's a full retest.
