Has anyone on here ever gone into a barbers and just said 'do whatever you think'?
I'm tempted to do it just to see what they think would suit but them again I've a school grad coming up and the tried and tested works..

Anyone ever tried it? What was your experience?
    Would you ever try this?

No....though I'd say the barbers in my area would just go with short back and sides as practically everyone gets that :pac:

A good barber would put whiskey on the shaver so it would grow back half cut

I went into a salon not long ago and said, "I hate my hair. Fix it." The hairdresser wisely asked me a couple of basic questions (was I looking for a big change, did I want to keep some length) then did a very simple cut that just got rid of the messy length and gave it a bit of a more flattering shape. Chaos to order, basically. I had really f*cked up with some color and tried to remove it, and she had to break the bad news of "it's going to have to grow out", but the way she cut it, it actually doesn't look too bad.

I always used to say that you know you're at home in a place when you know a reliable car mechanic, are on good terms with the local police, and you know a good trustworthy hairdresser. :) I don't want to "advertise" but if you are in Sligo and want to PM me I'll tell you where I went.
