Replace wing mirror casing ford focus.

Hi There
My car failed it's nct on jagged edges on the wing mirror.
It a ford focus 2007. Where can I get a replacement casing cheap. I'm in the D15 area.
I'm not sure if I only need a cover . Like this one in micks garage wing mirror or if i need you buy the full wing mirror arm .

That wing mirror arm. Might not contain the actual mirror and thus cost more than you think. What exactly is the damage on the wing mirror. Is it on the casing or something else.

Try using an image hosting site to show us a picture. Of the damaged mirror.

The mirror is fine. It's only the casing that is damaged . He said I could put tap on the sharpe edges and it would pass but I'm thinking I might as well replace it, if it's cheap enough. Picture attached

Try local breakers. See if you can figure out how to get the old casing off first, or maybe someone here will know.

To pass NCT you just need to make sure there are no jagged edges. Use black duct tape to cover it for now, many layers.

You need a complete mirror and cover to repair that properly.

I had to do this for the missus's car a year ago. Bought a set through Mick's Garage after failing to find something in the local breakers yard.

There is a cover that goes on the back of the wing mirror. It just clicks on. It covers a few cracks but the edge at the bottom is still exposed.

Update: I bought a 4 pack of pvc tape in dealz for 1.50 and tapped the shape edges up.
Took it back this morning to the nct centre and it passed.
Plenty of tape left if anyone needs some.
