Low mileage 2002 Yaris value?

Have a 2002 Yaris, 4 door basic model.

Has only done 52000 miles as of today.

Irish car, 2 owners, same family, from new.

No service history, has always been looked after by a relative (mechanic).

    Never gave any trouble anyway.

Passed NCT this week, clean sheet. NCT now expires 06/17.

Have NCT reports going back maybe 5 years to verify mileage.

2 new tyres on front, rear are good. Very clean inside, body needs some attention, no damage but needs good polish etc.

Opinions appreciated on its value with a view to selling it in the next few weeks.

    Thanks.

1.7-2.5k depending on how bad the bodywork is, and what colour it is.
    Clean and polish it up.

    Silver.

    Bodywork suffering from neglect. Only.

Will polish it up so if it will improve the value that much.

    Thanks.

If you're gonna ask all the money, the car has to look great. polish the body, back to black the bumpers, tyre shine, clean the inside. nice tidy tax disc holder, just give the impression the car is the best one around.

The mileage would only be on the last 1 or 2 nct reports no? i thought that was only a recent thing

It would have been on the white report sheet you get all the way back.

I find in addition a nice New Car Scent air freshener helps seal the deal :pac:

AutoGlym Autofresh injected into every porous surface is the way to do it!
