Five years ago I'd have agreed with you, but now considering cloud storage/icloud comes free, the fact that free wifi is everywhere, and that you can always just hotspot your phone it's not really an issue anymore, unless you're planning a bus journey through Africa.

Movies were the thing that gobbled up space on the iPad for me. Netflix sorted that out. Only an issue if going hols and no wifi. Then, need to load up on movies

Can I ask, the problem I have with out 16gb iPad is that we don't have enough storage for the apps - is there any way of being able to do something to be able to solve this?? Dont suppose anything like that can be done with this unit :o:confused:

Also asking, the wifi on this unit - is it just to transfer files and cant be connected to in order to browse the net? .... Sorry for the Qs - not tech savvy here

No, unfortunately you can't add storage to Apple tablets or phones. In future you could buy an Android or Windows device with expandable storage.

Thanks a million for your reply! Won't be buying an iPad again for this reason.

With the Lenovo Hard Drive is the wifi just for transferring files etc or can it be connected to? Thinking the answer is no but just in case :o

No. Its neither a wireless router nor a computer with a browser depending on which way you seem to expect to be able to "browse the net" with it.

Ah thanks ... thought there might have been a way of using it as a router ...

Cloud storage is great for storage, but not for having apps, or movies that will eat heavily into that 16gb.
Also, free wifi isn't everywhere, and has nothing got to do with storage.

Having dealt with a 16GB iphone up to last year, don't agree with you there. Apps/games alone will fill the available 12GB (after OS etc.) very quickly.

    And if
