Argelès-sur-Mer to Barcelona

    Hi - looking for some experiences in traveling to Barcelona. Don't fancy driving and trying to find parking in the City itself so was thinking of driving somewhere parking up and getting train the rest of the way - Girona for example - has anyone done something similar - will be doing it as a day trip so must be able to get back to where ever I leave the car. Thanks for any thoughts!

    I've driven in barcelona, while certainly a busy city, its not as intimidating as it seems. you could always head to the airport and park there, the parking might be more expensive but you're garaunteed to be able to get there at any hour of the night.
