    Hi

I am looking for a good net downhill marathon? I'm looking to use it for a BQ or GFA. I'm willing to travel!

Not sure a downhill marathon will count towards that!

    Why not do Berlin ?

Just do Boston itself for your QFA. Two stones, one bird.

To be eligible for record times (not GFA or BQ but records), races have to be loops with no net downhill. *
Course that want very fast times usually want to be eligible for records too

*not exact loops, and a slight decrease is allowed

Were you not going to be breaking some 24 hour record in the coming years? Surely then you should be able to achieve a BQ on any course?

I hear that the Connemara Marathon is almost half downhill...

They are very different events. There are many world class 24hr runners who would struggle to a BQ

Thanks all for help. There are a few out here in Utah where you pretty much run down a mountain. These are PB and BQ factories so might hit one of them

Can you run a downhill 26.2m yourself and then take a picture of your Garmin and send it to Boston? Would that be allowed?

I was 'in character' writing about the Virgin Night Run
