google keyboard weirdness

    Has anyone else had strange random insertions with the latest Google keyboard update?

    About half the time when I start typing a URL a series of digits will paste itself into the address bar. It occasionally happens in other apps too.

    Started with me last week, when I go to type something one letter at a time it puts in spaces and selects totally different letters to the ones I tried to press.

    The only way I can avoid it is to use keyboard swipe.

    Does this not happen to anyone on boards? When you have a long URL in the address bar and you tap to enter something else the contents of the address bar are highlighted so when you type you overwrite what's there. But only the vicinity post of the url is highlighted si the rest is not deleted when you type over it.

    Example, current URL is
    http://touch.boards.ie/thread/reply/2057600731 but the 731 is not visible on the screen. So when I highlight the address bar to type www.google.com I end up with www.google.com731

    Also I don't seem to be able to tour unknown words and have it display as the middle option above the keyboard.

    Previously if I typed in bundercludge the keyboard would suggest the word I just typed plus two known words on either side. I could tap on bundercludge to confirm it. Now it only suggests words from the dictionary so when I hit space it autocorrects every time. A huge pain.
