    I'm receiving jobseekers allowance @ €188 personal rate. Daily means are €16. Currently working casual hours - days and hours per week vary etc. So to the question - what does this mean?

    If you are working (even though the hours vary) i thought you wouldve got a reduced JSA payment ?

    It means that for every day worked your JSA will be reduced by €16

    yes, started with that rate but now took up casual work,after informing social welfare of this i was means tested. Recieved a letter of my means test but didnt fully understand it. Thanks
