New clutch, can't get gears?

New clutch, flywheel & release bearing installed last night.

Clutch disc is correct way around. Release bearing is on fork correctly. Slave cylinder is bled and looks to be getting full travel.

Car won't go into gear when running no matter how far the clutch is down  I'm baffled, I've removed everything and put it back in again and can't see anything wrong.

    What make/model/year?
    Is it a hydraulic clutch?

So car goes into all gears no bother when not running?
And when running you cannot get it into any gear at all, incl reverse and 5th?

    I'd say it is.

Millington, does the pedal feel the same as it was....eg. Is there the same amount of resistance when pressing the pedal ?
On a lot of cars the clutch fork is only barely pushed onto it's pivot inside the gearbox housing. If this has come off or shifted you may feel resistance and see the fork moving when pressing the clutch, but it won't be pushing against the release bearing properly and disengaging the drive.
Have a good look at the fork while somebody pushes the clutch. Is it's movement fairly even and consistent ? Or does it look like it's twisting slightly ?
Having said that my guess is that the slave is not fully bled and even though you see movement it's not enough to disengage the drive.

Yea it's fine not running. Didn't try 5th but no 1st or reverse anyway.

I took the box out again and the release bearing is on the fork correctly. It looks to me like it's getting full travel as there is only a few mm between the fork and the casing when the clutch is fully down.

The pedal is light but it's gone from a performance paddle clutch to an OEM spec clutch so I expected that. It's not staying at the floor or anything like that

Might try another bleeding and maybe some pedal adjustment but I can't see how I could gain much more fork travel.

For reference, this isn't my gearbox but the same type and this is how the release bearing is mounted
