Not a fan of SE models myself.

Edit : actually looks like an ES model with MFSW. no parking sensors at rear is a give away and the manual climate controls. ES is the most basic entry model.

Entry level spec, entry level diesel engine. 15k could be better spent on something else imo.

Find a 320d at the very least. Bmw got their reputation of good driving cars based on putting decent engines in their cars. Straight 6 petrols, the e39 530d, the x20d in various models and of course the m engines. Straight 6 petrols and diesels are more or less gone in Ireland now so all that's left is the x20d in the 3 and 5 that's anyway decent. It's even in the x5 now but that's not a big seller. Looks like that's under threat now from smaller siblings.

The 330e/530e is going to take over soon, but will probably be a 316e by the time it's a mass seller.

Don't go for a 316d in basic spec if you are in anyway a petrolhead and enjoy driving. It will still handle well but will be like your everyday car when it comes to power, I.e. underpowered. Won't use any less fuel than a 320d either.
