Looking for somewhere that I can reserve an area for about 30 people. Ideally Dublin city centre - its the middle spot for everyone really - or the Northside. Don't want a nightclub - would prefer a late bar instead so we can stay in the one spot.
Has to be 30th July which I know is the Bank Holiday weekend.

    Any suggestions?

I've heard of hen parties using Koh - http://www.koh.ie/

You can do cocktails classes there, and its a northside option.

Other than that, you can reserve an area in most places, but you'd have to be conscious that typically you have to turn up by 8/9pm they'll give away your area.

House on Leeson Street might suit? Their outdoor area at the back is great, but you'd need to book well in advance. They have a nightclub part downstairs also so you'd get the best of both without having to move.

What age group are we talking?

Well I think both my original suggestions would still work for that age group. Koh is half a restaurant, and I've see all ages in House, especially upstiars.

Another suggestion would be Ely Wine Bar CHQ in the IFSC. I did a wine tasting evening there with a group from work and we'd a great time. It would be an easy way of incorporating an activity. Although may not suit if some of your group want some wild dancing later on in the night.

Sams Bar on Dawson Street might also be an option.

Odessa just off Dame Lane. They have a bar, and then a rooftop terrace, both of which you can reserve areas in. Open late and mixed age group.
