Small annoying occurrences

I was making breakfast this morning and noticed when i looked down that I had the left sock on the right foot and vice versa :mad:

Had to go up and have a shower and get dressed again.

Does anyone else have any small annoying, but funny occureences to share with the forum

It was the left sock that was on the right foot like I said. It's mildly annoying to have to go upstairs and shower (again) and get redressed from top to toe for such a simple mistake

tbh i think i put decaff in the nespresso last night too which probably explains why i wasn't awake this morning

Unless your socks have L and R on them, cant they go either foot.

And I presume the shower was to wash the smell of failure away from not being able to dress yourself.

Ok so my first thought was "there's a trivial annoyances thread already" but then people pointed out some things and now I feel OP needs to answer some questions.

As others have asked: Why did putting on the wrong socks require you to go shower again?

How do you put socks on the wrong feet? They go on any foot.

I suspect OP may be trolling us but I'm not 100% sure.

Are you saying you've never noticed the L and R on your socks. They're normally at the bottom of the heal of the socks.

so are people here genuinely saying that they would iron socks, but them neatly in the press with a pile of right foot socks on the right side and a pile of left foot socks on the left side and then just grab them and put them on randomly? Or do others not iron socks and just lash them on?

None that fall outside the trivial things that annoy you term of reference on the trivial things that annoy you thread...

I barely even check that my socks match at all. Black on one foot and grey on the other? Sure grey is just a faded black when you really think about it.

If you look very closely you will see that they're very very very very very very very very very very very very dark grey.

I was (very) mildly irritated to notice that a pair of socks I had on yesterday had a flower pattern that did not reverse for the other foot. So as I looked at my foot there was a small flower to the left and a larger flower to the right, but the pattern was the same on the other foot. It should have been reversed so the two big flowers were to the middle. Or the two small ones, depending on which way round I put them on.

On the other hand, I have some with squirrels on that all go the same way across both feet, so if you press your feet together you can get a full squirrel from two halves. Is that clear?

Do people wear santa and reindeer socks at any time of year, or just for Christmas?

What? not on my socks, today i have a 'Wednesday' and 'Sunday' sock on, xmas present and i deliberately don't match them.

I'm guessing the OP only has one leg/foot and for each pair of socks he buys he seperates them into wearable sock & **** sock!

He then proceeded to put his **** sock on his foot this morn by mistake and hence had to shower after making that terrible mistake!

That's my guess anyway!
