No grant currently available but one informally confirmed under TAMS II. Should be available later this year.

Is there always a requirement to use very high spec materials for fencing grants?

I have already bought a couple of hundred cheap splits but also the proper treated strainers and heave duty sheep wire. I could probably get a forward dated receipt for these if they qualify.

I'd say the splits won't be to grant standard. Also work can't start before grant approval and probably best not to mention any dates on receipts on the Internet other than the date the stuff was purchased.

might sound stupid but i would imagine that you would have to have a sheep flock number in order to qualify for the grant when it arrives? if not then what is to stop any type of farmer applying?
