Help with housing ?!

    Not sure if I'm in the right forum ! Just wondering if there is any help available for self employed ppl on low wages for housing ? My hubby is self employed but his wages are very low less than min wage !!!! We are living with his parents ? We have 2 kids and I don't work ! Thanks in advance !

    You can apply for social housing through your local county council but expect a long wait

    Are you in rented accommodation? Your first move is to go to your nearest local authority office and apply to be considered in need of housing. There is a form to be completed and they will require a full set of accounts.
    If you are approved by the L A as in need of housing then you might be able to apply for HAP ( housing assistance payment)
