Braces.. opinions?

    Hi all,

    I am 19, and thinking of getting braces sooner rather than later to fix up my appearance (especially in photos, never smile!). My bottom teeth are quite crooked, top ones are mostly fine besides some overbite.

    Photo attached of my teeth.

    Have been looking into this Invisalign stuff but not too sure it'll be the right one for me.

    Any opinions on the best type of orthodontic work to go for, after seeing the photo of my teeth? I'd hate the thought of having to wear train track type braces, just from an aesthetics point of view!! But if they work better than Invisalign, then so be it.

    May I suggest that you seek an opinion from a specialist orthodontist who does both Invisalign and conventional braces, and let them advise you what is most appropriate for your needs?

    Have an appointment Wednesday. But just looking for others opinions too, especially people who have had similar treatment.

    Money isn't an issue. Have set a budget of 6k max.
