    Final Overall Ranking: 14,674

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank): 108.1m

    Total Transfers: 49

Your Best Transfer(s):Giroud in and captain GW38 possibly. Sturridge in for DGW34 was good too because it was a calculated risk that paid off well.

Your Worst Transfer(s):Any Everton player. Getting rid of Payet GW4 after 2 blanks and just before he went nuts scoring points every week.

    Highlight of the Season: DGW34. 190 (-4)

Lowlight of the Season:Benching Mahrez for his hattrick and his big score away to City. Not confirming a captain choice on Kane costing a load of points. Triple Captain Lukaku DGW33.

What Have You Learned from this Season: 1. Keep the faith. Came very close to giving up at nearly 1m OR halfway through. People said (ok, iroced said) a decent rank was still possible but I'd have taken top 100k at that point and thanked you for it.
    2. I've always been partial to a points hit but I've learned this year that they are an integral part of the game, and I think have also got better at spotting the right one. I can't recall many that didn't work out. I can recall several I didn't pull the trigger on that I should have.
People have an irrational aversion to taking hits sometimes even if its blindingly obvious they are needed. If they reshape your team and gain 4 points back over the next couple of weeks then they equated to an extra free transfer. And how priceless would we all see an extra FT.

    Aims and Expectations for 2016/2017:
Alway the same goal. To better my personal best rank which is just over 5k. Cracking the top 1k some season is the dream.

    Final Overall Ranking: 2,314

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank)106.5

Total Transfers: Probably 35 - no point hits

Your Best Transfer(s): Had Mahrez from the start but I've made a habit of playing my wildcard after the first GW. Did the same this year and brought in Payet, Ayew and Vardy. Reached 350 OR by GW10

Your Worst Transfer(s): For GW9 I had to replace Callum Wilson and had the straight choice of Odion Ighalo or Saido Berahino. Oh, what could have been.

Highlight of the Season: Aguero's 5 goals.

Lowlight of the Season: Honestly, none. I've finished higher before but this was by far and away my most enjoyable FF season. An absolute rollercoaster.

What Have You Learned from this Season: Don't give up

Aims and Expectations for 2016/2017: Top 10K is a bare minimum. Top 1K is the aim.

    Ah fup it, top 100.

So much this, I wish I did this at the end of gw33 and just did a -12 to fix my absolute mess of a team although I did still take hits in the remaining game weeks, I was forced into keeping players like Ozil and Delaney when I wanted to sell them, whereas I should have just axed them after 33 and just taken the points damage there and then.

If I'd taken the -8 I had planned at the start of GW37 I'd have been 20 pts or so better off, woulda won a couple of leagues I came second in and be up maybe €500 or so.

I'll be having a closer look at all the hits I took to see how the success rate actually was. Took some silly ones last season but think I'm better tuned into how and when to take them this year.

    Final Overall Ranking: 22,282

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank): 104.2 million

    Total Transfers: 47

Your Best Transfer(s): None stand out to be honest

Your Worst Transfer(s): EVERY SINGLE TIME I SIGNED LUKAKU

Highlight of the Season: Gameweek 37, behind all year then went top of league. Also Payet treble captain same week.

Lowlight of the Season: All first two months, couldn't get a decent score any week

What Have You Learned from this Season: This Forum is gold. Rival played BB in gameweek 38 and had 10 players. 4 of missing 5 were flagged here as non-players. Game over for him

    Aims and Expectations for 2016/2017:

    Final Overall Ranking: 112,546

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank): 106.0m

    Total Transfers: 43

Your Best Transfer(s): Getting Darlow for next to nothing in GW34 and scoring 31 points in four weeks, including the epic 15 pointer in GW36 against Palace involving a clean sheet and a last minute penalty save

Your Worst Transfer(s): Bringing in Yaya early in GW30 for a minus 4 to avoid a price rise only for him to promptly get injured

Highlight of the Season: Breaking 100 in a SGW for the first time in GW8 getting 108 mainly thanks to 50 from Aguero (c)

Lowlight of the Season: My awful captain choices. 22 scores of 10 or less with the crowning glory being Martial getting 6 points in a DGW where he was at home to Villa and Palace

What Have You Learned from this Season: Stick with it. My Q2 rating was 1.6m my Q4 rating was 28k.

Aims and Expectations for 2016/2017: Try to stay in the Premier League. Get back into at a minimum the top 50k OR.

    Final Overall Ranking: - 6,238

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank): - £107.1m

    Total Transfers: - 60

Your Best Transfer(s): - Having Mahrez and Bellerin from the get-go was good

Your Worst Transfer(s): - Feel like i struggled with Keepers all season

Highlight of the Season: - reeling in a 62 deficit to win my ML by 88 points

Lowlight of the Season: - Being my first year I was pretty green re rules and strategies and didn't appreciate being in the top 25k by GW 9. I played foolishly and dropped to 519k by GW 21.

What Have You Learned from this Season: - The basics. Also no doubt whatsoever that the more football I watched the better my transfers were. Don't F*ck about making needless transfers. Also, don't be afraid to buy players you don't necessarily rate. I was pig headed about Ozil and I didn't see enough of Ali to convince myself to get him in earlier. I hated buying players just because they were doing the business.

Aims and Expectations for 2016/2017: - To take it much more seriously. I feel I have a great knowledge of the premiership and I approached FF as 'just a game' until I got hooked.

I've already created a short list of players for next season.

    Final Overall Ranking: - 8.6k

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank): - £108.1m

    Total Transfers: - 50

Your Best Transfer(s): - Listening to Mr. Prodston and getting in Townsend.

Your Worst Transfer(s): - Selling Marhez c game week 7(??), I had made money on him and thought Leicester were going to flop. (This is still quite embarrassing to admit, like owning up to a STD or something)

Highlight of the Season: - 179 points on GW 34. My previous highest was 84 or so.

Lowlight of the Season: - realising the terrible effect of my STD above.

What Have You Learned from this Season: - Much more long term planning required with GK and defense. My playing keeper and my sub keepers scored the same low number of points (despite my reserve keeper being injured quite a bit)!!!

Aims and Expectations for 2016/2017: - same again in points (i think I got quite lucky overall), but to do better on transfers. My transfers were often poor, selling people during slumps in form and buying in other players too late.

Helluva good debut season. And a useful contributor here also.

    Final Overall Ranking: - 11,313

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank): - £106.3m

    Total Transfers: - 56

Your Best Transfer(s): - Getting Charlie Daniels and Kane in early gave some good differentials.
Worst Transfer(s): - Started off with Courtois -2, and a couple of Costa/Carroll punts went terribly wrong.

Highlight of the Season: - Coming home locked after winning a county final to find my captain Kane had scored a Hat-trick away to Bournemouth. Carlsberg don't do Sundays etc..........
Lowlight of the Season: - Carroll triple captain was a kick in the bollix.

What Have You Learned from this Season: - Never give up, I was 132 points behind in a local league after GW26 and ended up winning by 17.
Aims and Expectations for 2016/2017: - To start better will be taking in pre-season a lot more seriously and will wild card early if things go tits up in the early gw's.

Somewhere in the depths of he'll, circa 540k

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank):

    Haven't a rashers

    Total Transfers:

    See above

    Your Best Transfer(s):

Can't think of anything notable other than I had Alli, Mahrez and Payet in my draft and right throughout the season.

    Your Worst Transfer(s):

Too subborn to get in on the Leicester defense or Vardy until it was too late

    Highlight of the Season:

    Pfft

    Lowlight of the Season:

The final kick of the season from Smalling cost me 1st place on the boards sky sports FF

What Have You Learned from this Season:
Be prepared to pick players in FF that you don't rate in real life

Aims and Expectations for 2016/17 season

Enter every money league going. Then copy ElTels 2016/17 team, sit back and wait for the dough to roll in.

    Final Overall Ranking: 145,000

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank): 106.9M

    Total Transfers: 45

Your Best Transfer(s): I got a bit of luck this season in fairness with some 50-50's. Brought in Mahrez instead of Albrighton on the second week thank God! Brought in Özil right when he hit form. Edit: Actually brought in Özil few weeks after he hit form!

Your Worst Transfer(s): There's been so much, where do I start! I'll pick a few examples of what went wrong: Brought in Okazaki instead of Vardy near the start of the season (50-50 decision); brought in Lukaku missing out on all his big returns and he goes to sh*t that week; Alder's massive points when I finally got him; sold Bellerin just as he goes on a crazy 35 points in a few games; brought in Kompany when he returned from injury only to get inured straight away! Let's not go into Mane, Pelle and Alberto bloody Paloschi!

Highlight of the Season: Could go with Aguero's five goals against Newcastle. Think taking 100 points off my league leader in DGW34 tips it! Real turning point in the season!

Lowlight of the Season: Don't really have one! Things got so bleak mid-season and I thought I might as well have said bye to the mini-league! GW20 getting only a clean sheet would be up there!

What Have You Learned from this Season: A lot learned in my first proper season! I look back at my first week and think what was I at! Cazorla captained, Gnabry on the bench, double Arsenal defence etc. Not to rush into transferring in players just returning from injury such as Kompany is one. Another would delaying transfers for highly in form players because of taking a hit, like Alderweireld. Actually chose Kompany over him in the winter when Vincent came back to try it as a differential. Seeking too much differential players as well.

Aims/expectations: I'd like to get into the top 10k or so but probably need a bit more experience. Winning my mini-league again as well.

Looking forward to El Tel's contribution, not many where the first category will be in single figures. The hits situation is very interesting my opponent whom I clawed back nearly 150 points in 12 weeks only took 1 hit all year and that was in week 3, a bit like Busts 7 transfer guy( I wonder where he finished?).

    Final Overall Ranking: - 15,983

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank): - £105m

    Total Transfers: - 38

Your Best Transfer(s): - Mahrez in after week 1.
Your Worst Transfer(s): - None really, just that I didn't look after my defense enough. I lost a lot of points late in the first half of the season by not sorting it out.
Highlight of the Season: - Saving my wildcard for GW 37 and gaining a lot of ground.
Lowlight of the Season: - I put my young son to bed for his nap thinking I had an hour left to do my tranfers on the last day. My plan was waiting to make sure that Payet was out. Plan A if Payet was fit was to bring in and Captain Giroud and bring in Arnautovic. Plan B if Payet was out was to bring in Giroud as Captain and also bring in Mane and Arnie. I put my son to bed and waited for him to go to sleep and came back down as the clock struck 2.00pm. It cost me my two pay leagues as I'd have won both with those changes. I ended up second in one of them and twelfth in the other one. I should have had Giroud and Arnie done anyways as it didn't affect my decision on Payet.
I also thought I'd used my triple captain in GW34 on Aguero but didn't actually use it at all. Ended up losing a net 18 points over that too.

What Have You Learned from this Season: - Concentrate more on getting the defense right but more importantly to get transfer done on time as it cost me big.
Aims and Expectations for 2016/2017: - I have the same target every year which is to finish in the top 5% of players.

    Final Overall Ranking: 8th

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank): 99.4+7.6=107M

    Total Transfers: 47

Your Best Transfer(s): Giroud in GW38 and captaining him.

Your Worst Transfer(s): Shaw in and out in the same week that he got injured. Dropping Daniels, who I had from GW4 with late first WC

Highlight of the Season: Obviously quite a few. GW8 118pts moved me form 30k to 940th and Bony (c) the following week got me to 332nd. 7 green arrows in a row from GW32 moved me from 2746 into the top 10 with Giroud and the Smalling og securing me top in Ireland

Lowlight of the Season: Kane in GW31. Like a few others who were going well after the first quarter I felt like I was treading water for much of mid season. (lowest OR was 3.3k in GW20) That Kane haul knocked me back from around 500th to 2.7k. Ozil and Ighalo were the main reasons for my mid season "struggle".

What Have You Learned from this Season: Picking my team for next week the moment a GW started keeps one grounded. I perhaps got a bit too conservative after the first quarter-one hit from GW10-gw33. I need to improve on Defence transfers.

Aims and Expectations for 2016/2017:[/QUOTE] Top 10k and another promotion in the Boards league.

I'm sure people will be waiting for the update to see their final rankings etc, but no harm getting this set up.

    Final Overall Ranking:776

Final Team Value (Value + Money In The Bank):101.6, 2.3

    Total Transfers:51 :pac:

Your Best Transfer(s):Gomez, Ayew and Gomis from the opening game, got in Mahrez early, same with Payet. Getting rid of Ozil for Siggy, prob a few others that I can't quite think of

Your Worst Transfer(s):Berahino, Lukau when he lost his form, Robles and Lennon. Delaney for the most part.

Highlight of the Season:GW 29 or 30, the one where Ageuro and Lukaku both missed pens and Daniels scored in the last minute. Was nuts.

Lowlight of the Season:Team news for gw33 :(
Signing Pelle for Villa and he didn't play, same happened with Lukaku the week after

What Have You Learned from this Season:It costs points to earn points
One seriously good gameweek can easily undo multiple bad ones

Don't be too clever, for my WC in 32, I prob brought in too many risky/fringe players in order to free up funds for dgw players.

Another thing is that it's worth watching as many games as you can, had I known Everton were so ****e (I didn't realise how bad till I saw them play Leicester) I would have stayed well clear

    Form over fixtures

Aims and Expectations for 2016/2017:Win whichever Boards league I am allowed enter

    Another top 1k finish
