Is this nearing the end of Louis reign? Hopefully.

A home win to finish off the season would be nice & hopefully make CL.

Then onwards to the cup final.

Predicting a 2-0 home win. Martial double

Last dour game at old Trafford before the Mourinho/Zlatan/Griezmann/Ronaldo/Pogba party rides into town

Zlatan would be a bad signing for Utd.

The French League is different to the Premier League.

    And hes in his 30's.

Only 1 United player scored over 8 PL goals this season, if Ibra could contribute 10 goals it would be a worthwhile signing

Premier League is different, its better quality but Zlatan was good enough in Europe and can still do a job.

We signed Henrik Larsson in his 30s for a few a months, he was quality and Zlatan is a better player. He's a winner and any team in the premier league could do with his quality, it would take a bit of pressure from the current 18 year old that's leading the line.

Also as the above poster mentioned, we don't have a regular scorer, he brings at least 20 goals a season IMO

1-0 with zero shots on target for either team. Utd to have 79% possession, make 4,000 passes, with 3 touches inside the opposition box all game and score with a shot that would have gone for a throw but it takes 7 deflections and goes under the keepers legs and in.

Entire stadium evacuated, possible 45 minute delay to kick off.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,858 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Will this affect the other games too considering they were all scheduled to kick off at the same time for a reason?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,017 ✭✭✭Chagan

Those bloody West Ham fans at it again.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,858 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Can't be a bomb scare surely or else they would be evacuating the whole stadium surely.

Delaying kick off. Tut, tut. ;)

The spirit of Jimmy Hill lives on!

Delayed ko in 3 of 38 league games must be a Premier League record.

45 min delay, weird if only part is being emptied

    Only two stands are emptied

    Only two stands are emptied

They are likely doing a sequential evacuation

In terms of fairness, it probably should have. But really, they know what they have to do themselves so they can't be using any excuses. Man U are pretty likely going to win this match so City know they should go out and win.

Seriously? There is no possible advantage, Utd need to win, end of story.

To the other poster, its two stands which hold about 35000 people, an orderly evacuation and reentry will take at least 45 mins

    How is that an advantage?

    Why delay the city game?

Why would the City game be delayed? United have to win no matter what happens in Swansea, they'll gain no advantage from knowing result in advance

    From Guardian live feed:

"Apparently, supporters outside the Stretford End have been asked to move away from the ground. 45 minutes sounds unlikely to me, on which point Swansea-City will kick-off at 3pm."

#mufc confirm "suspect package" at Old Trafford

I was watching the F1 race from Barcelona and thought there was some problem with Sky given they had the same match on both channels.

United's match getting delayed too often recently.

City score goal but disallowed., but then gives it

If City lose 3-2 when up to that point they were winning 1-2 and its the 87th min and both games are on at same time then the Man U players would maybe mentally think it's all over, as only 3 mins left and City can't possible lose 3-2. Man U game could be at 0-0 but players know City are winning 1-2 with minutes to go and mentally concede....
    It matters

Or at least looks convincing enough to not take a chance with it.

    Mental.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Seems like security have done a very good job if they feel the need to have it called off.

    Swansea denied a good goal.

It's the sensible option. Shifting 70,000 people out and back in like that is a logistical nightmare.

Safety first, we can all agree.
But if this package is fake and a simply prank to delay game then its not fair.

Ah seriously cop on, when's the last time a game has been abandoned in England due to a suspicious package. Your posts are petty, looking for a non existent advantage. Ridiculous posts

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,831 ✭✭✭Dr.Winston O'Boogie

If it was a bomb, that's a game changer for security in England at matches. Scary.

No one can control what one crazy fan might do.... a lot at stake.

I bet I'm right, that this is a false scare. That package is not a threat, that someone took it upon themselves to do this.
