Desperate for Summer Job in Spain

    Hi i'm totally desperate to get a summer job working in Spain, loads of my friends got work in a summer camp but i didn't get it. I still really want to go away to Spain, Anyone got any suggestions? I'm not looking to work in Magaluf or something more work in a summer Camp or teaching English. I am qualified in TEFL.

    You could try getting some unpaid work through workaway? Teaching English or working in a hostel. You wouldn't earn anything but usually get your accommodation and meals sorted and may have time to get another job on the side.

    doesnt spain have the highest rate of unemployment for under 25s in the EU? Probably not going be easy

    Having worked on the TEFL summer camps in Spain, they tend to hire native English speakers to teach.

    OP what kind of job did you apply for? You may need to consider applying for monitor/sports positions as well as teaching.

    Hey thanks for the responses, i applied for a company called Diverdo which run summer camps aimed at teaching English through activities like Sport, Drama ect. A similar type of job or work as a rep or in a hostel or something would also be good.
