    Hi folks,

Our Mira Elite St is causing trouble, I think the thermostat is gone.
I know it's pumped so I need an equivalent.
In searching for a replacement, how do I know what KW the current shower is ?
I presume going lower is ok, but not higher.

    Thanks as ever

It's most likely 9kw 230v / 9.8kw 240v. There should be a sticker at the top or bottom of the shower. Failing that there is a sticker inside the shower.

What is actually going wrong with the shower? If it is going hot and cold? Is it stone cold? Is it only getting lukewarm?

You might not have to replace it. Depending what's going wrong

    thanks for the reply.

It's kinda got a mind of its own. Some times it would scald you on high and you'd have to turn it down to medium, then the next it would be freezing on medium and you'd have t turn it right back up again

    Cheers

There is a restriction of the flow going through the shower. Clean filter & shower head. I'd run it without the head & if you can control the temperature without the shower head then you have an issue with the head.

thanks a mill, I will try that.

It kinda makes sense as the low flow light shows some times when playing with the temp.
