How long will it take to get 100mb Eir Fibre installed?

    Been watching the fibrerollout map for the past few weeks, said it would be coming in my area soon and that the cabinet was being built.

    Saw an internet van pass my house this morning, looked at the website later and it said the Cabinet is active.

    I'm going to buy it, but how long will it actually take for me to make the switch?

    Also, I'm a good bit away from the cabinet, about 1750m, what speeds will I be expecting?

    somewhere between 7 and 12meg, 2000m is the limit to which it works and the speed drop is massive after 1200m.
