Skoda Series and Gran Fondo Hibernia

    Hi Guys,

Just wondering what has the pace at the front been like recently for Skoda events ?

Did the Cliftden one a few years back and it was slow (I do race a bit but its make up the numbers in lower level races). A small group of us rode of the front at club pace and never saw the rest of the field all day, it may as well have been a small club spin.

Did the first day of the 3 day in Tralee a few years ago (which was skoda) and this was a lot faster with a good sized strong (in sportive terms) front group.

Maybe the Cliftden one was particularly slow or maybe that's how they generally are.

Anybody any feedback, trying to get an idea of what the Gran Fondo Hibernia may be like ?

    Paul

I've no idea about this particular one but you did manage to sell an entry :-)

Looks like a nice day out. Pity they can't close the roads like the Gran Fondo up north - it really transforms the experience.

I'll be making up the slower numbers btw...
