Buying something online from a polish seller but he does not want to have the hassle of sending it out of Poland for some reason. I was thinking if I can arrange shipping myself they can collect it and he's got nothing to complain about. Its about a 3kg box. Where can I look to get a decent price on this? The item is only €25 and so far the quote I'm getting are multiples of this?
Who should I try for a quote?

You could try a broker like Irishparcels.ie, google should give you other options

Alternative you could try delivering to UK to Parcel Wizard, Motel, etc to get it to you, might be a cheaper than directly to you.

I don't know how you would independently arrange it, but I know that last summer I sent a 3kg box myself from Poland to Ireland and it cost me about 20-25 euro. From the post office. I did not insure it though so maybe that is what is jacking up the price on yours.

    That might do the trick

    Brokers

Perhaps Dublin based company would be another option

    http://thundertransport.com

    Failing the above

I want to buy something from Poland but they don't ship to Ireland. Does anyone know of a parcel forwarding service similar to Parcel Motel or AddressPal that delivers from Poland to Ireland? I'd really appreciate some help please.

    Hi,
contact them and tell what you need its 18e for 10kg and 25e for 30kg. Size of parcel i max 200cm when you add high+length+dept so its very big any way. Then will pick up item bring to Ie and deliver by GLS here in Ireland. Just call them. I used them few times never had a problem.
