Invigilating Exams Pay Rates

Hi there I'm an post grad at the University of Limerick and is an Invigilator for the Spring Semester Exams. The rate of pay is €11.09/hour for new entrants and €12.33/hour for more experience invigilators. However, the UCD rates are €12.30 and €13.67. Would anyone know the reason for the difference? Thanks
