I would kill for cans of Spaten, Warsteiner or Kostritzer Schwarzbier.

Don't think they exist here, any recommendations?

Not paying 3 quid for 330 ml cans either by the way.

    Cheers.

Does it have to be cans??
Spaten is pretty easily got here, but in bottles?

Spaten is not pilsener its helles (sweeter, and not because its a watery pilsner like becks or other schlop, its a different style), and schwarzbier is "black beer" so again a completely different style than pilsener.

in cans, maybe checkout Kaiserdom which should be available from Dunnes at a cheapish price

I'm presuming its for a music festival, and youre just looking for something drinkable but it has to be in a can.

Maybe look into the Polish beers which are supposedly drinkable and they definitely aren't too dear. They would be more a pilsener style than anything

Yeah, can't see them around my neck of the woods, would really appreciate an exact location.

Have seen Cobra in cans in Dunnes stores and have come across it in O'Briens off licences.

O'Briens sometimes have 4 packs of Pilsner Urquell cans, they're usually cheaper (€/litre) than the bottles.

The Festbier in Lidl was surprisingly good for the price, they have a Swarzbier in cans too.

Still better than the utter filth that is Warsteiner.
