How long to wait on licence renewal

    Hi guys
    Hope someone can help me.
    I am still waiting on my license to arrive. This has been over two weeks. I am in the process of buying a car and insurance this week. Is there anything that can be done in the event my license dos not arrive? Can you get an emergency/temp license?

    Last I talked to someone that was getting a licence renewed they were given an estimate of 5/6 weeks. This was pretty recently.

    You can still buy a car and insurance without the licence right now. If the insurer wants a copy of you licence you probably will have it by then.

    Current wait time for licences with NDLS is 7-10 workings days if documentation is all in order. It not, it can be up to 7-8 weeks. Ring them at 0761 087 880 and they can confirm if it's been posted

    You will have the same license number so you can give that of you get asked for it
