    Hey all

My mum suffers from back pain, and she is in a job that involves a lot of pushing and pulling people in wheelchairs / physically supporting them. It's ridiculous, but that's a whole other story.

She has asked if I can get her a back support like she had before. She did find one online, as it's similar to one she had before. The link she found is:

    https://www.gumtree.com/p/health-care/york-body-support-adjustable-back-support-belt/1166275251

I'm looking to see if I can get anything better. I'm Googling lumbar back support belt. There are a lot of magnetic ones, and I know she won't go for that.

Does anybody have any advice or recommendations? I'm happy to spend money if it will help my mum!!

There are quite a few mobility shops around the country. I use Phelans in Cork city. They are the best people for the best back support belts. You may spend 50 euro but very worth it. Or if you want to do it a bit cheaper, see what they would recommend and then go to amazon. Dont forget that you will probably need your mums hip measurements to get a decent belt
