    Hi im interested in buying a second hand house and renovating it.cost of house is 135000 and were hoping to put new kitchen.tiling. wooden floors.new bathroom.new windows and knocking some internal walls and if budget allows convert the attic.hoping to do all within 40 to 45000.any ideas how mortage works on including renovation works and price of house.can we put our deposit down first.then get an engr to check all before applying for mortage.we have our own house to sell which we have been told will sell very quickly

    Most likely with that amount of work a new heating system too and while your at it new windows and insulation to bring up the energy rating.

    Attic conversion not a neccesity first.windows are double glazing with would do us a while till were in and sorted.without these both do you think it would be achievable
