I met a friend of mine at the doctor. I have long term illnes and acnnot work. he had the flu. I feel depressed at comparison of his life and mine, what i have lost. i am not broke and have some savings and a car and house. but my car is older than his and my house is rental and his is owned and his income is a career and my is disability. So it gets me down comparing

I could be successful if not sick i have had a little succes even while very sick but not enough to be rich, i want to be really rich and will work for it but am unable. I would not talk about it as the depression folk say nowadays or even tell the doctor. i do not want sympathy and the doctor cannot cure me

More money, more problems as the saying goes. Some people are rich some people aren't, but its not the end of the world if you arent wealthy.
Maybe try and expand other parts of your life. Relationships, hobbies etc.
Believe me, 99% of the population feels like this at one point in their life.
