Received it from Garmin a week ago with 3 months warranty, decided to sell due to upgrade to a newer model.

Came with no packaging and accessories, but will include a charger, cable and a single bike mount.

Can deliver within Dublin, otherwise postage as per registered and insured Anpost tariff.

    Price: 185e.

Hi Alek, just a question or two showing my ignorance - please be patient.

When you send it away to get it refurbished, do you get the same one back / or another one that was submitted by somebody else?
If the former, how much use was on the unit / what age, and why did it need to be refurbished?
Are there any maps on it, or is it a big job to put some on it? - do I need to get a memory card?
Has the battery life deteriorated with age? (or did the refurb include new battery?)

    Thanks in advance.

As far as I know Garmin always gives you a completely overhauled unit with new case and battery. Not sure if it is my previous one or somebody's else, but the serial number is different. I can include a 1gb card with map of Ireland or / and any other country you wish :-)

Okay. Offer 185 if you can include necessary maps (can discuss this via PM) and cover postage (or wait a week or more until I'm next in Dublin or can arrange collection)
    Is PayPal ok?

185 accepted, can wait up to 2 weeks - flying abroad mid May.

Send me a PM re: maps, I'm sure I can find what you need.

    Paypal is ok.

Just being nosy, but what did you upgrade to. Love my 810, but being half blind somewhat short-sighted was thinking about getting the 1000 for the larger screen.

@Buzwaldo, all the OpenStreetMap stuff works well with the 810 and is easy enough to load on.

Havent decided 100% yet, but 1000 is likely :)
