hi guys, i have been dressing since i was 14, i started off using my sisters clothes usually bras and lingere and some shoes but since she moved out i havent access to clothes so i am really thinking strongly of buyiing my own, but i am very shy and not out, im bisexual.

i used a dressing service in dublin once and it was really great funa nd i found it very erotic. i would love to indulge and buy lots of nice little bits and pieces for myself but im very shy plus i dont have a huge budget.
i sometimes see gorgous lingere and clothes in Dunnes and Pennys, even LIDL did some great deals at Valentines on lingere and sexy gear. i would love to buy these things but i am really scared to go into a shop and go through these clothes and buy what i want.

i was thinking could i possibly get an arrangement in one of these shops where i could stay back in the shop until its shut then buy my clothes with just the staff there i dont mind doing that its just members of the publlic i am afraid or scared of.

any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have a female friend who'd be happy to shop for you?

Would people even notice if you went in when it was quiet? My boyfriend, and once a male friend had to buy underwear/pjs for me. I don't think either of them have ever had any trouble. How is someone to know they're not for your girlfriend/friend/sister?

I would be highly doubtful of any shops willing to do that for you. Have you tried shopping online?

If you wanted to get some in Dunnes and knew what size, you could buy them online and then nominate any store to collect them in.
The contents of your order are sent from a warehouse somewhere so nobody in the store has any idea what you're collecting, just that you have a name and email they sent you. It's free too, hope that helps.

Delivery box service of sorts - you get the item(s) sent to an address in Finglas and they deliver to a delivery unit locally. This is accessible by a PIN code rather than talking to anyone. There may not be one near you though: http://www.parcelmotel.com/locations/

There are also online lingerie shops that sell also male underwear and would not mark what the package contains, Figleaves comes to mind. This could be passed off as buying boxers if needed.

You can do shop online and collect in-store as well for Marks and Spencer, Debenhams and House of Fraser.

Might not work out as well for you if you like to physically be in the shop and seeing what you're buying if that's part of the whole experience for you but it sounds like you're quite nervous. You just go and collect the parcel in the shop instead of it being delivered to your house. Whatever number of working days after you place your order. M&S don't open it they just hand it over to you. I had a large order of stuff delivered to Debenhams at Christmas and we opened it just to make sure it was fine and all there and in House of Fraser I usually just take the box and go.

Something I do myself to save time in the shop anyway is to just look at the stuff online then go in the shop and pick it up. What you could do is order a few things in various sizes from M&S, try them on in the comfort of your own home and then when you go in the shop you know what size to get. M&S always have deals on knickers 3 for 2 so you could get 3 sizes there no prob so that's a good solution. I always see men in the lingerie section in M&S, always. Nobody would bat an eyelid and more than likely they'd think you were shopping for your girlfriend. To be honest if I were you I would go in there on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon when the place is busy and you'll just be one of the crowd rather than off-peak but you have nothing to hide anyway.

Parcel motel as suggested is another idea, buy online from any shop and use that! I've used it in the past for stuff I don't want people to open, I live at home too and if I have it delivered to work it's opened for security reasons.

Nope Dickie I'm not, just thought I'd lend a hand. I'm just a girl that's very into lingerie myself, so we have that in common ;) Luckily I do a lot of online window-shopping, could never afford all the stuff I want!

Hope you get sorted anyway, you should have a good look around online because there's some sales on at the moment! M&S sounds really boring and like a grannyish place to buy stuff but they actually do some really pretty and sexy things now too, really upped their game! I get a lot of my stuff from there! Their range by Rosie the model is really pretty and sexy, expensive enough but you could treat yourself to one or two things from that range. They often have good sales so I'd sign up to their email thing and because it'll tip you off to when their sales are on.

Haha yeah that's a cool look. Very badass! :D

You should take a look around for those boots now! Now would be a great time to buy boots because they'd be selling them off coming into summer. I know there's definitely places online that sell shoes in larger sizes than would be available in women's sections in shops as well, not sure of names but definitely out there.

There are a few retailers (like Littlewoods) that do free returns via Parcel Motel too (you book it through their website and they text a code to you to drop the parcel off) so if you have trouble finding your right size in different brands you can return stuff without it costing you a bomb.

cool ok thanks, i just got my parcel motel account up and runnning! so here goes some great shopping! although i really stilll need a place to hiide them, does anyone know of like lockers you can rent say in a gym or something? i used to store them in my college locker but im not in college anymore!

Luggage lockers usually only allow a maximum of 3 days or so in each go.

Depends on how much stuff there is but you could just hide it in an inconspicuous bag like a sports or school bag in your wardrobe. Wouldn't be the nicest way to do it though because you'd get creases in it being rolled in a ball.

You could get a suit bag like one that hangs and put everything in there in your wardrobe.

Some inconspicuous box in amongst others under your bed surrounded by boxes of old college notes and books and junk.

    Shoebox in bottom of wardrobe.

    Garden shed, your car etc.

You're out of college so your parents hopefully wouldn't be going through your room and certainly not through random boxes of 'old college notes and books' under your bed.

Not aware of any lockers you could rent but renting a large storage unit seems like overkill.
