Multiple /Sub Accounts For Savings

    I recently heard some money advisor recommend having lots of bank accounts to.organise your savings into i e an account for Car, another for Holidays, another for savings etc. The idea I guess is to stay organised and protect your different savings from dipping into.

    What do you folks think of this?

    I like the idea of dividing out my income like this but surely there are charges for each account?

    An online account with sub-folders would be a nice idea.

    A lot of effort but it all depends on whether that approach will work or you or not in terms of keeping your finances organised.
