Hey guys, just looking for some info if possible.
I started a part time job late last year and I send in forms every week for the days I work, X's and O's I think most people call it.
Anyway someone told me yesterday that I can only work like this for 1 year, after that my job seekers will stop. I can't find much info online in general so was wondering does anybody here know if this is the case.

    Thanks

    Corsa

Completely untrue. The only condition to retain your JSA is you must be unemployed for 4 days out of 7.

not sure but I would say you will go from JS benefit to JS allowance which means producing a pile of bank statements for you and others living in your house depending on the circumstances

If it's Benefit you can continue to work part-time 3 days per week. After 9 months (if you have 260 credits) you have to transfer to JSA or 6 months if you have less credited contributions.

If you're on JSA you stay as you are.

If you have jb and have 9 months on it then if you only work 3 days per week you will get 18 months approx out of jb as you wont be getting a full weeks jb payment.

I'm unfortunately on JA so I'm delighted to even have a part time job at the moment. Hopefully I can make my position more permanent and move off benefits entirely before this year is out.
Thanks for all the replies guys, I appreciate it :)
