Hitman In A TV Series / One Off ?

Please help me. It's doing my fcuking head in!

Can't honestly remember if it was in a couple or so parts, or just a one off. One word title ~ I think. About five years ago?

Adverts depicted a stout lad, from the upper right / back, in a tan bomber jacket ~ Collar length hair. Bit round faced ~ Looking across his right shoulder. Rather vacant, unenthusiastic look about him.

In the programme, based in england, he'd basically take a call and amble off somewhere. Slouching along. Get to where ever. Pull out a gun and put a couple of rounds into someone, almost sighing with the mundane boredom of what he was doing.

Memorable bit was when he did the school job. Held his palm towards a blokes face and looked to one side, to protect his own eyes from spatter, as he shot him in the face.

Have I a hero out there? Will somebody, Please, remind me what the hell that was?

Cracking series but the funny thing is I can never remember the title either, I always have to google it

Well, I'm torn now: Do I store this information away somewhere safe? Or just bloody buy it on DVD?!

Was bloody good though, wasn't it? Someone had the bomber boy as his avatar. I got so curious as to what it was about that I traced it and thus watched it.

Great character, wasn't he? Completely barking!

Yeah, he's a memorable character alright, you want to die roaring for most of the series then you almost feel sorry for him at the end, calling some anonymous roadside cafe his local.

That actor plays a hitman in a similar british film, a horror called kill list. Very dark, very unsettling.
