My question is this ! If I apply mcpa50 with the weed licker on silage grass will I get the ragwort!? Grass will aprox be same length as the target weed so really is the same as spraying! It's a corner of a field got infested! I don't own a sprayer so I'm asking your opinion would the licker do?

    Is there much?
Best way I've found is pull it, into a black bag, wait a few weeks, burn it.

    I don't think it will..
Firstly isn't ragworth spray only effective at the "rosette" stage..

Chemicals are typically drawn into weeds through the green leaf, with the licker on taller ragworth it will mostly be rubbed onto the stem and I couldn't see a result. I can't see a licker being any use other than rushes.
