Long story short........my old pump a 10yr old salamander died. The cost to repair was crazy money, made no sense. Following advice & research I bought a new pump, Salamander RSP50. The old one was a 2bar 22mm with the new one being 1.5bar 15 mm. Now I've called around a load of plumbers & nobody wants to touch it, imagine...work & pay & they can afford to ignore it..beats me. Anyways, I'm fairly capable so I'm prepared to give it a go. Thing is, the inlets/feeders to the pump are 22mm while the new pump is 15mm. Is it feasible to simply switch out the old pump for the new with the existing pipes?
