    Evening!

I would just to find out how does one go about becoming a post man/woman? Just so I'm clear I have no real interest in the role as I have a stable job but its a question I often asked myself as I never seen any advertisement for the role and I imagine its fierce competitive to get as its perfect for a majority of people.

Do An Post run a national competition or do you have to know people or maybe its run from one of the big postal dispatch offices?

Think if you have a relative working there you stand a better chance, heard its very hard otherwise.
