    Hi,
Not used to this and looking for help/info so here goes, currently in process of building a house, plans goin in😮 we seem to be stuck on type of heating system, we thinking underfloor down stairs in main living area and rads upstairs, what type heating system is best and obviously cheapest in the long run, i will be insulating the house to best standard possible. Is ordinary boiler the best way, air to water, of which no little about, or any other options, cheers in advance, p

There are many different ways to go about it but in my opinion currently the best options are.

    1. Good Insulation
    2. Air Tightness
    3. MHRV
    4. Solar
    5. Thermal Store
    6. Boiler or Stove

Personally I'd stay away from GSHP. as it takes too long to recover the outlay.
    That's just my opinion.
If you get 1 to 5 right you will have very little need for 6.
