In similar threads before as well as on the web-site of Immigration the information was that after two years on Hosting agreement one can obtain Stamp 4 just by presenting oneself to garda to extend his/her period of stay, i.e., Stamp 4 could be granted automatically for hosting agreement holders after 2 years. It seems the policy changed as after my application for the third year instead of getting Stamp 4 I again got Stamp 1 and to my questions in the garda station (Cork) they said I had to submit a special application to Stamp 4. Looked for some information on the internet or any updates on the Immigration web-site but there is no word about an application in this situation. Does anyone knows something about this? Are there people here who got Stamp 4 after two years on hosting agreement in last 2-3 months? Please, help.

    Hello Massimo39

Did you renew your hosting agreement? Did you have to submit any other document? I am due to renew mine next month and any suggestions will be helpful

    Thanks!
