I'm digging up an old thread here but does anyone know if the situation has improved at all regarding these inspections? I'm looking at buying a 26 year old car and would like to get it checked over before shelling out the cash.

    Anyone used these guys before?

can you tell us what the car is?
there may well be owners clubs that could point you in the direction of a model or marque indy specialist (it doesn't necessarily have to be even something slightly exotic)

It's a BMW E30, I've been doing my research on them etc. but would like to get a professional opinion, if possible, if I decide to buy.

Unless it's some older mature person selling it, it's probably been 'diffed' to within an inch of its life.

good choice  - are you a member on www.E30owners.com ? If not it would be worth checking them out, there's a big following and there's a few members on here who I'm sure would be glad to give you a dig out.

@ Cee-Jay-Cee - quite possible, but a well minded club owners car would certainly be worth a look
